I actually do not like them.
That's all, no more cats next 5 years.
I'm trying to adapt myself, as every photographer shoots cats, why shouldn't I ? Cats are the new pink.

Cat
Darkroom
I love the sound made by the developer while I agitate the tank.
I love the way my workbench is clean and tidy, white and waiting for the substances to cool off.
I love the smell of developer. The way my hands smell and the way my freshly rolled cigar has a light chemical scent while I smoke it satisfied by the job I've done.
Rolling the film onto the developing spire will leave so many memories: some nice and some ugly.
I know that I'm actually modifying matter and playing with chemistry for the sole purpose of creating an image. A tiny world that combines and changes in order to represent an unique moment in time - seen, lived and taken by and with me.
Next morning I just can't wait to see my film. I know it's dried and the pictures are expecting me. Everything smells like chemistry, the tank, cylinders, syringes, thermometer are drying waiting for another roll.

Air vertigo
He floats into the air, forgetting the long way made until this point.
He doesn't remember what was on the road, being unable too see what will follow.
Just floating, into some kind of thin air, with a perspective so large that it becomes everything in a world full of perspective, where perspective is all and all is nothing.
He still cares for simple things, but passes by them quickly, amused.
Inside is air. Outside is air. And light passes through it, emerging in a simply ray that vanishes in infinity.
Seeking for something that is everywhere. Seeking for... a breath of air.
Suddenly, he realizes the irony. And breaths.

Uncertain contre-jour
In an uncertain world, where everybody is an actor, we only see what the light surrounding us shows. Camus said that an actor is a sincere liar, so we could say that everybody lies sincere.
One who plays with light knows that light itself is another actor. It plays roles, have acts and it’s always moody. More, you can always see more in it.

Life in shadows
From now this blog will be written in English. The reason is that I have many visits from countries where people do not speak my language, non returning visits most of them. I still love my native language but I took this decision out of respect for all my visitors.
We are fascinated by shadows. Most of us try to find shapes and meanings in them, while others imagine a dark and unknown part of the world in them. Whatever it might be, anything could be a shadow.
A shadow is still a creation of light. Even if one can say that a shadow is "lack of light", it is not possible without the light which gives it birth, shape, meaning and life.
Everywhere we find light and everywhere we find shadows. Light is life, everywhere.
